Fascinated I was, when I saw these 2 persons on this beautiful public spot, enjoying their pizza and wine. Especially the fact that an ordinary take-away pizza (probably cold) with a simple glass of wine, there at that location suddenly a very tasteful and delicious meal could form.

With this on my mind, I developed a 'Hit-and-Run-restaurant', based on the guerrilla-tactics. Once in a while this restaurant appears illegally at extraordinary locations.

To prevent contact with the police, it's important to work as quick as possible and the location must be secretly transmitted in code. The power is in the temporality: act fast to be there, otherwise you miss it!

The Hit-and-Run-Restaurant will offer space for a small group of people and serves fingerfood of excellent quality.

The search for the location and the excitement during the dinner are the ingredients for a new unique sensation. The lucky ones who get the chance to be present at this 'secret operation', will feel very special.

To operate secretly and to stay unnoticed, the restaurant will be disguised as an pillar for advertisement and become assimilated in the streetscape, until the concerning evening when he will transform into a restaurant.

Only the connoisseurs would know that this ordinary pillar for advertisement transforms into a restaurant. The others can only question where this opening will have place.

To understand this sensation, we needed to act! The first guerrilla-action we had was at the Big Square of Groningen in front of the famous 3 Sisters, the Tower of Martini and the city hall.

Before the transformation, the people just walked by without noticing this ordinary object. Nowbody would have discovered it's real identity; that inside is kept a restaurant.

The party took 2 hours, untill the police came to check it out. But luckely the hit-and-run-restaurant was prepared and after 5 minutes it was already disappeared.
